My Black is NOT Cracking.

I'm not Aging. I'm appreciating in value!

Please excuse me while I tend to not only my broken heart but my injured body! Two weeks after my Noodle’s accident, a Doordash driver decided to add neck, back, and shoulder pain to my already broken heart. (Along with a totaled vehicle. I mean… because why not?) #therapy I hope to feel better soon.

7/2/22 – Part III Grief. Seriously, I’m not really suggesting there is good grief.  But Grief is necessary in order to heal. To grieve is to allow yourself to experience the intense feelings of disbelief, despair, and sadness.  Those feelings are part of the healing process, so allowing yourself time to grieve is healthy. it’s …

What to do. From the moment we wake up we are making decisions. We make choices. What to eat. What to wear. What we will do first. To some extent, how our day will go. Those decisions start with thoughts. We have thoughts and we make decisions based on those thoughts. Some think of others …

THIS POST WAS WRITTEN SEVERAL WEEKS AGO.  I FORGOT TO UPLOAD THIS YESTERDAY. So, originally, my collaborator, John (Jay) Washington was going to do the Father’s Day post.  Unfortunately, (for me) he has a lot going on and let me know he wouldn’t have time.  Jay’s living his best life, and I ain’t mad at …

But, I’m not talking about the 1967 (And no! I wasn’t old enough to be into romantic comedies in 67!) Neil Simon rom-com film starring Jane Fonda and Robert Redford.  I think it was adapted from …

I asked my blog contributor, John (Jay) Washington to write this week’s post so I could have some much-needed time off.  I scheduled myself off for a long weekend following a damn-near eighty-hour workweek the week prior.  I decided I would even treat myself to a long overdue massage as a Mother’s Day gift from …

Well, 125 posts and over 6000 views ago, I decided to launch this blog to not only share the things that I had learned about healthy living and aging, but to share my experiences. (And to run my mouth without getting thirsty!) I was trying to figure out for myself how to feel better, both physically …
